Crying

<< Back to the main Stories/poems page

I cry when I read.
Sad solemn tears spill down my face
and I don't know how to stop them

I think it's because I lived in characters minds
For so long,
They were my only friends.
They were my only enemies.

I normally have a character
That is everything I want
And I normally have a character
That I can only pity

And no matter how hard I try
to stop the tears from fal
With my heavy heart.

But then I realised,
Why would I not cry.
It is only a sign,
of utterly good fiction
