God be with the days when these three lovely lassies took off for a summer's spin around Lucan.
Joan Quinn (McCormack from Beaumont Cottages), Josie Martin (Reilly from Dodsboro), and Pattie Brady (Dobbs from Dodsboro) – out in their Sunday best.
The picture was taken over 50 years ago, just in front of the old Cinema – where the Ulster Bank is at present.
To the right of the picture, the doorway to the Rectory can be seen, and towering above it is a great chestnut tree.This doorway is now part of a garden in the Old Rectory estate.
