Snow Wonders

<< Back to Main Local Interest page

A great collection of Snowmen, and indeed Snowwomen, were to be seen all over Lucan over the past week or so.

They seem to be getting bigger and better, due in no small measure to the amount of the white stuff fallen. Another factor to the style of snow creations, has to come from the Polish and Baltic communities who are no strangers to heavy snowfall. The most wondrous 'street furniture' in the shape of armchairs and walls, were to be seen in several places. Unfortunately, due to their whiteness, many will not reproduce well in our black/white publication.
