World Malayalee Council honours Sr. Pascal

Dublin: World Malayalee Council Ireland Province honoured Sr. Pascal on their inauguration day at Lucan Football Club Auditorium. Sr. Pascal who is now living in Lucan, and is 88 years old, did charity works in different parts of India around 44 years.

Global President Jolly Thadathil (Germany) gave a memento to Sr. Pascal honouring her. Chairman Raju Kunnakkattu presided over the function. Europe region President Mathew Kuzhippallil (Switzerland), Associate Secretary Jojo Parackal (Austria), German Province Chairman Jose Kumpiluvelil, President Mercy Thadathil, Fr.Antony Nallukkunnel, Cochin Lakeshore Hospital Chief Dr. Thomas Varghese and President Maju Peckal delivered speeches.

Sr. Pascal also spoke at the function and thanked the Malayalee Community. She said that 75% of her mind and body are still in India. She is now fundraising for a building in New Delhi for the people in the slums. She also said that she will go to Delhi by the end of this year for this purpose. The audience took her words in such high spirits.

Secretary Roy Kunchelakattu and Jiby Varghese (Kilkenny), Treasurer Shybu Joseph, Vice-President Uday Nooranadu and Vice-Chairman Sunil Francis lead the function.
